Health & Safety

RS is committed to the prevention of illness and injury through the provision and maintenance of a healthy and safe workplace. RS endeavours to meet its responsibilities for the health and safety of the members of its community by complying with relevant health and safety standards and legislative requirements, and by assigning general and specific responsibilities for workplace health and safety.

RS takes all reasonable steps to acquaint its employees with their rights and duties in the workplace and applicable regulations and procedures for protecting their health and safety. Where appropriate, RS establishes policies and programs to assist in maintaining safe conditions and work practices and facilitating employee participation in health and safety activities, including health and safety committees.

All employees will be encouraged to contribute to the company health and safety program. RS encourages the involvement of all employees in the development of company health and safety practices and procedures.

Quality

RS’s reputation is earned by our conduct. The products we make, the services provided and the way we act and treat others. We rely on our mission, vision and values to guide the conducting of our business with integrity and in a lawful and responsible manner. While we value business results, we place equal value on how we achieve those results.

To that end, RS has established the following quality policy to support its mission:

Do our best every day to exceed our customers’ needs and provide the most trusted composite pole through craftsmanship, continuous improvement and innovation.

Note: The RS pole selector is based on CSA Grade 2 construction with a maximum AGH deflection limit of 22% at class load for tangent and self supporting poles with line angles ≤3°. The M5/6 is not shown in the module tree as it is a base only module that stacks under the M4. The AGH shown is based on a standard embedment assumption of 10% of the pole height plus 2 ft. [0.61m] for poles 40 ft. [12.2m] and over and 10% plus 2.5 ft. [0.76m] for poles less than 40 ft. [12.2m]. The RS pole selector is for demonstration purposes only. Contact RS to confirm the correct pole for your application.
